Wedding Registry

Your presence at our wedding is enough of a gift for us. Making memories with you on our special day is more than we could ever ask for and celebrating with us is a fantastic gift in and of itself!

Some guests wish to generously give gifts even though they are not expected to do so. The below list has been created for those who have requested additional information in this respect:

Favorite Retailers

  1. Rustic Roots – Sycamore, IL
It’s a Christian-owned and operated, local store with items that fit our style perfectly.
  2. Heart2Heart – Medina, MN
A non-profit organization where 100% of proceeds are used to support Christian ministries. We love the farmhouse items, as well as some of the wall art and puzzles.
  3. Magnolia
It’s Christian-owned and operated and with beautiful items that fit our style.
  4. Hobby Lobby
It has many Christian-themed items and décor items, and is a Christian organization. Plus this is one of our favorites for inspiration and DIY items.
  5. MyPillow
We appreciate founder, Mike Lindell’s life journey from tragedy to a God-fearing man as well as his conservative political position. His products also are well-made and manufactured in the USA.
  6. Thirty One
We like the faith-based mission of this organization plus its initiatives to provide income opportunities for women to still raise families. It also has a commitment to be more eco-friendly. Products that we enjoy most are the wooden trays, picture frames, felt storage bins, and square storage cubes with lids in natural or gray.
  7. David Austin Roses
Bred in England but grown in the USA these beautiful rose bushes aren’t just from vintage stock and bred by hand, they also come with a five-year warranty. We love that they are as fragrant as they are beautiful and each comes with it’s own story.

Favorite Causes & Charities

  1. Samaritan’s Purse
This Christian non-profit brings physical relief to people who are hurting along with sharing the hope of the Gospel to people around the world. We have contributed to this cause for many years through the Operation Christmas Child program, providing children with what may be their only Christmas gift and a chance to hear the message of salvation.
  2. Feed My Starving Children
As a Christian non-profit FMSC’s mission is to feed starving children in both body and spirit. We’ve devoted time and money to this organization over a number of years.
  3. Wildlife Warriors
As childhood fans of the late Steve Irwin and as nature lovers, we are passionate about protecting and preserving wildlife.
  4. The Innocence Project
This non-profit organization is critical to preventing wrongful convictions, freeing the innocent, and creating better systems of justice for everyone. It is important to us to see our broken justice system reformed.

Steven currently owns a Cape Cod style home. It has the original dark oak hardwood floors and the vintage charm of a 1920s-1930s house. This is where we will make our first home together after we are married.

We love darker woods and industrial farmhouse style. Our kitchen will be white with shades of dark and light gray. Our main bathroom will be accented in sapphire blue. Our powder room will be accented in goldenrod yellow or honey mustard color.

Our living room will be accented in cranberry red and denim blue. Most of our house will be either white washed or painted with shades of warm grays for walls and tiles, and woods in dark wood tones. Metals will be dark hues such as oil rubbed bronze or wrought iron.
